Since 2010 the Covenant of Mayors (CoM) initiative has come to involve 11 Eastern Partnership and Central Asian countries in the implementation of local sustainable energy policies (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan).

Launched in 2008, the Covenant of Mayors (CoM) initiative is the mainstream European movement involving local authorities in the implementation of sustainable energy policies.

The expert workshop "Spatial Data for Modeling Building Stock Energy Needs" took place on 24-26 November 2015 in Ispra, at the EC Joint Research Centre.
