On 5 April 2016 the JRC presented the interactive and collaborative online European Energy Efficiency Platform. This beta platform is conceived to fill the gap opened by scattered data and fragmented knowledge resulting from a rapidly growing energy efficiency market. It is expected to be both a one-stop shop for information retrieval and a meeting point for experts to exchange data and reduce redundant activities.
NREAPs - Renewable energy shares

The indicators present the expected shares of energy from renewable sources in gross final energy consumption in EU Member State and in EU as a whole towards 2020 targets defined in Directive 2009/28/EC. The indicators include:
- renewable energy share indicative trajectory calculated as defined in Annex IB of the Directive 2009/28/EC;
- overall renewable energy share calculated as defined in the Article 5 of the Directive 2009/28/EC;
- renewable energy sectorial shares calculated as defined in Article 5 of the Directive 2009/28/EC.
The indicators are given for each EU Member States, for EU as a whole and for a given calendar year.
