On 5 April 2016 the JRC presented the interactive and collaborative online European Energy Efficiency Platform. This beta platform is conceived to fill the gap opened by scattered data and fragmented knowledge resulting from a rapidly growing energy efficiency market. It is expected to be both a one-stop shop for information retrieval and a meeting point for experts to exchange data and reduce redundant activities.
Engineer, in 2009 he joined the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, since then he has worked assessing the role of technology innovation in energy-intensive industries to improve energy efficiency and GHG emissions. He has 6 years of working experience as a researcher in probabilistic safety assessments of nuclear repositories and 10 years as a consultant in INDRA, a Spanish consultancy firm. His main assignment in INDRA was to support an electricity distribution company in regulatory issues.
