On 5 April 2016 the JRC presented the interactive and collaborative online European Energy Efficiency Platform. This beta platform is conceived to fill the gap opened by scattered data and fragmented knowledge resulting from a rapidly growing energy efficiency market. It is expected to be both a one-stop shop for information retrieval and a meeting point for experts to exchange data and reduce redundant activities.

This book contains the Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Improving Energy Efficiency in Commercial Buildings - IEECB’10 which was held in Frankfurt, Germany, 13 - 14 April 2010. The IEECB’10 conference has been very successful in attracting a large international audience, representing a wide variety of stakeholders involved in policy implementation and development, research and programme implementation, investments and property management of energy efficient commercial buildings. IEECB’10 has provided a unique forum to discuss and debate the latest developments in energy and environmental impact of commercial buildings and the installed equipment and lighting. The presentations covered policies and programmes adopted and planned in several geographical areas and countries, as well as technical and commercial advances in the dissemination and penetration of energy efficient commercial buildings.
