Some examples on how to estimate the impacts of SEAP actions/measures in 2020.

Street lighting can account for up to 30-50 % of the total electricity consumption of municipalities. The recent market introduction of LED technology for street lighting offers high savings with comparatively short pay-back times.

Municipalities are faced with an urgent need to act: nearly 80 % of all currently used street lighting lamps will be "phased out" by 2017, which means they will no longer be available for purchase. In most cases this will entail substantial investments, thus presenting a major problem for many municipalities.

At the EEDAL'15 conference 128 papers dealing with energy consumption and energy efficiency improvements for the residential sector have been presented. Papers focused policies and programmes, technologies and consumer behaviour. Special focus was on standards and labels, demand response and smart meters. All the paper s have been peer reviewed by experts in the sector.

This report examines investment in energy efficiency in public and residential buildings supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Cohesion Fund (CF) during the 2007-2013 programming period. It forms one of the thematic work packages of the European Commission’s ERDF/Cohesion Fund ex post evaluation 2007-2013 of 320 co-funded programmes.

This paper presents the World-wide harmonized Light duty Test Cycle (WLTC), developed under the Working Party on Pollution and Energy (GRPE) and sponsored by the European Union (with Switzerland) and Japan. India, Korea and USA have also actively contributed. The objective was to design the harmonized driving cycle from ‘‘real world’’ driving data in different regions around the world, combined with suitable weighting factors.

This report provides results of analysis of data for 2009 and 2010 provided by signatories of the EU ICT Code of Conduct for Broadband equipment V2 and V3.

Since data on V2 was provided by one signatory per year only, this data will not be reported. Most data was provided for 2010 for V3; therefore the analysis will concentrate on this data.
