This guidebook is adapted to the South Mediterranean context from the Joint Research Centre’s (JRC) guidebook "How to develop a Sustainable Energy Action Plan", developed in 2010 to support the implementation of the Covenant of Mayors (CoM) initiative in European cities. The aim of the current report is to provide a summary analysis of the results of the GreenBuilding Programme (GBP) in 2010.
Also a comparison analysis with the data of the period 2006-2009 will be provided.
Up to the end of 2009, 167 Partners joined the Programme with 286 buildings coming from various fields and sector of operation. In the period 2010, 116 new Partners joined the Programme, with a total of 183 buildings, which is a very good result.
