This book contains the papers presented at the sixth international conference on Energy Efficiency in Domestic Appliances and Lighting. EEDAL'11 was organised in Copenhagen, Denmark in May 2011. 

Expectations are that broadband equipment will contribute considerably to the electricity consumption of households in European Community in the near future. 

The potential new electrical load represented by this equipment needs to be addressed by EU energy and environmental policies. It is important that the electrical efficiency of broadband equipment is maximised.

This Code of Conduct sets out the basic principles to be followed by all parties involved in Uninterruptible Power Systems, operating in the European Community in respect of energy efficient equipment.

This document specifies energy efficiency requirements and the measurement methods for
compliance check against the requirements herein.

The work consisted of an analysis and a comparison of energy datasets from several relevant databases (i.e. Ecoinvent, E3, and GEMIS), considering the ELCD database as the basis for this analysis in order to figure out the possibilities for improvement of the ELCD overall data quality.
